12/22/2023 0 Comments Broom holder wall mount![]() The mount holding my broom has had no issues, though uninstalling it will likely cause wall damage. I will admit that I did not wait the full 24 hrs before using so beware. Update: The mount holding my heavier, swiffer wetjet did start pulling away from the wall, peeling a big chunk of the paint with it. While they are working, there may be more user friendly options out there, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I did install it on a painted wall and am concerned about future removal, as I may have to fix/repaint the areas. ![]() I have seen others where the handles just pop in/out, which I would prefer. That is why it takes a little wriggling to get the handles in/out. The grippers rotate/turn, but are a little sticky, so the movement is not fluid. I was worried that my wide-handle swiffer would not fit, but the rubber-like gripper held strongly. It took a little wriggling to get them in, but they gripped strongly. With that being said, I tried my broom and swiffer in them right away, to see how they would fit. Stick the hanger to the wall and squeeze out any air bubbles. The front says "No Damage," meaning that it does not cause wall damage, and "Strong Bearing Capacity." I assume "Watectical" means waterproof.īecause there were no instructions on the packaging, I had to come back to the Amazon listing to see the video and read instructions. It actually says "Read instructions before using," but then doesn't provide any English instructions on the back. If this is of concern for you, I would suggest not risking it and looking for alternate placement. ![]() □I have NOT tried to remove this from my wall yet so it may be just fine but I suspect with long term use, this would be difficult to remove without damage to painted surfaces. This isn’t optimal ease of use but removing is seamless. I have to kinda pickup/push out one side of the holder or use my other hand to hold one side of the opening to get the handle in. □To be most useful, I should be able to simply push the broom straight into the holder with one hand but the silicone/rubber opening pushes down instead of out. The instructions included on the packaging were of little help to me as they weren’t in English but the photos were explanatory enough. Now it has a permanent place where it can be found each and every time. There is no coat or linen closet in my old, small home so it ends up in varying corners, never being found where it was last. My household broom is always misplaced as it has no permanent spot.
